New by-laws prohibiting street hawking in Accra

The repeated attempts of the Accra Metropolitan Authority (AMA) to fight street hawking and other forms of 'indiscipline' in the country's capital can be followed in the latest developments. New by-laws now target not only street hawkers, but those who buy from them while en route, or when stuck in traffic. Means drivers and passengers are at risk (at least theoretically) of being prosecuted.
